L’Alfred’s organic baker’s yeast scores with 100% controlled organic raw materials and reliable baking performance in professional baker quality. This high quality of the processed raw materials distinguishes the organic vegan baker’s yeast. The gluten- and soy-free organic yeast is suitable for sweet and savoury recipes from bread to pizza to yeast cakes or bites.
Bred from organically produced raw materials, manufactured in a resource-friendly way and without added emulsifiers or additives, L’Alfred’s organic yeast is sustainably convincing.
The vacuum-sealed packaging protects the yeast powder from moisture penetration and keeps it for months. The gentle drying process interrupts the ripening process of the organic yeast so that it can be easily stored in the household.
After opening, the unused organic dry baker’s yeast should be stored in a cool and dry place. Tip: The easiest way to store unused organic yeast is in a sealed container in the freezer.
The organic baker’s yeast is ideal for dosing and quick processing.
1.Simply take the desired amount of yeast powder from the packaging and dissolve it briefly in lukewarm water.
2. Then mix into the dry baking ingredients and continue to process.
3. Knead the dough and let it rise as usual.
Note: Due to the use of certified organic raw materials, organic yeast has a lower leavening power than conventional yeast. Therefore, we recommend a slightly longer rising time for the dough, depending on the recipe.

Sometimes it simply has to be done quickly. No more bread in the house and dinner is approaching? Then this recipe for a very simple spelt loaf with sunflower seeds is the solution!
With a very short rising time, the bread can be prepared quickly. Thanks to the sunflower seeds, the bread tastes strong and crunchy. If you no longer have sunflower seeds in the house, you can alternatively use other nuts, kernels or seeds or leave them out altogether. This way, the basic recipe consists of extra few ingredients, so that the dough can also be prepared when you don’t have much in the house.
The super short rising time makes this express bread ideal for stressful days when you simply don’t have much time. With just a few ingredients and a few simple steps, you’ll have fresh, fragrant bread on the table in no time!
Mix flour, yeast and salt in a large bowl.
Add lukewarm water and knead the dough well.
Mix the sunflower seeds into the dough.
Depending on taste, a few sunflower seeds can be sprinkled over the dough for decoration after it has rested.
Line a square loaf tin with baking paper or butter the edges so that the bread can be easily removed from the tin after baking.
Leave the dough to rise in a cold oven for 30 minutes and then heat the oven to 200°C top/bottom heat.
Turn off the oven after 60 minutes and, depending on how crispy you want the bread, take it straight out of the oven or leave it to bake for a few more minutes.
